I thought all of these numbers quit spinning when Obama took office?

What we need is a huge new entitlement program to get those numbers turning the other way! Or maybe we should throw some money at the shoe industry. We haven’t given them any money yet.

Any other suggestions?

I have one, how about we slow that big Medicare one by forcing everyone to pay for their healthcare with a government insurance program rather than just giving away all that money every year.

Oh, that makes sense. If bankrolling 15 million people is breaking the bank, let’s bankroll EVERYONE! That’ll definitely be cheaper.

There you go, throwing that conservative paranoia right out on the table. No, bankrolling 15 million people doesn’t work so lets make all those people buy insurance and not “bankroll” anybody.

Better yet, let’s let them choose which insurance they’ll buy. That’s a great idea. You should send a letter to your friend Barry Soetero in the White House and tell him.

I’ll give you a pass on this one because I know you’re a busy man. He gave a speech on exactly that just last week. You’ll be happy to know congress is working on a bill right now which will do exactly what your talking about. I’ll call to let him know your in the “for” column. Thanks for the support.
