Jason PowersI’m Jason Powers and I’m the primary writer at RealityUnwound. As an associate pastor in San Antonio, I believe the point of truth is to set us free.  I believe truth is very real, I believe it is a force of reality as great as any other force in history, and I believe it is and can be objectively known for those who will seek it. Truth is everywhere, sometimes hiding, sometimes filling the sky horizon to horizon, using all 64 colors in the box at once. All truth is God’s truth, no matter where it’s hiding or what clothing it’s cloaked in at the moment. Ultimately, if you are patient and persistent, you will sense that your search for truth reveals something altogether different… rather than nuggets of facts or cultural artifacts and argumentative opposition, when you follow the search to its source, you find Truth, and you find that iHe’s been looking for you as well.

My sincerest hope is that this become a lively chorus of conversations and engagement. My goal is to point to truth where I think I see it, seek it when and where it may be found, and occasionally (most hopefully with you attendant too) to sit down, have a drink and  discuss what it is we think we’ve found until we’re rested and ready to look again.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, and learning from each of you. The link to “The Barnabas Project” is the small group and spiritual formation blog that I write for my church. Some of the topics will spill over because the heart is the same, so stop by there and let me know you were there.  Stop by often, bring a friend, leave a comment. If you’d like to contact me personally, drop me a line on my contact page. or e-mail me at jason [at] realityunwound [dot] com. I look forward to hearing from you.
