The incident with the rifle (a beautiful AR-15, unloaded, but he had a clip in his back pocket) happened in AZ. AZ is a open-carry state that also has over 100K concealed carry permittees. There were undoubtedly many more legally carried, concealed weapons at the event than there were openly carried weapons. A great many people here (myself included) routinely carry concealed, owing to the cartel violence that has spilled across our border and Phoenix being the #2 city for kidnapping as a result. Home invasions are becoming more common too.

I’m just a little worried for ya Sandy. Don’t get too optimistic just because youre part of the vocal minority now. You’ve got 7 more years of this coming and I just dont want you to buy in that any repub has a fighting chance in 2012.

I am so tired of hearing about how many people are angry that we have a black president. I have never heard of anyone being upset that we have a black president except the liberal media bringing it up again and again. And of course Obama himself thinking everything is about race, like the university professor and the police office incident.

I think the only people not ready for a black president are black people.

But I’m with you — If Obama’s socialistic policies were administered by anyone of any color I would still hate what that person was doing to our country.

And I’m encouraged that it appears that the majority of Americans now are waking up and realizing they blew it when they gave this unexperienced radical the opportunity to lead America.

End of rant.

I watch a fair amount of MSNBC and there was plenty of full video of the black guy with the assault rifle on Cm and maddow for the last few nights (I think even an interview). Some on Daily show as well. Makes it all the worse that the commentator would throw in the white comment at that time. But it’s not as if they’re hiding the full video.
