First, I absolutely agree with you. This isn't Obama's doing. You're also right about the absolute media bias concerning King Barry. Great analogy about Dick Cheney (R -WY) as well. Well done! Annoyance can be a great motivator. You're in a good place!

That is so embarrassing to watch. I can't hold Obama accountable for other people's actions, but I really do think that a lot of people that voted for him put their celebrity/media-induced hatred of Bush ahead of rational thought and core issues.

I made the mistake of watching Oprah on Monday, and Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were on. Oprah asked Ashton when the moment was that he decided he was 'in' with Obama. Ashton said something like "I met him at special dinner that celebrates celebrities like me, and Obama was there, and this was right around the time the news was buzzing that he might be considering a run for President. I asked him if he was going to run, and his response was:

"I will really have to think about that - it is a decision that will affect my entire family. My daughters, my wife, its a big decision."

And I was like, Whoa! THAT is what we need in the White House. Can you imagine, if we had someone in there that puts his family first? That is what we need - to put our families first."

OMG I lost my mind. Because obviously Barack Obama is the only person in the United States that thinks about his family and loves them. Give me a freaking break. I never hear anyone talk about Dick Cheney and how much he loves his GAY daughter, how he always welcomed her partner/spouse into his family and made sure to have them at his side at most of his important functions, even though he has an (R) after his name and his party platform (and his President) is against gay marriage. He obviously loves his daughter very much AND he stuck his neck out for gay people many times, but no one in Hollywood talks about that do they??? Nope, because Obama is the only person in politics that cares about his family. Oh, and Bush really hates his kids, so that is obviously why he was such a crappy President. Obviously.

Anyways, for the record, I hope that Obama does well in office. But all the hype really annoys me. And celebrities annoy me. I am offically annoyed.

Bipartisanship. That's a joke. The Bushhitler crowd is well and truly in the saddle now, and we're going to find out to what degree their bleating about Bush the Tyrant was projection of their own prejudices and inclinations.

They'll want "bipartisanship" when (1) what they're doing is so huge and potentially a disaster that they need some conservative cover to protect themselves; or (2) if they're ever no longer in a position to simply ram whatever they want through.
